We’re real people who have a real relationship with Jesus Christ who loves you so much He died for you and me. We’re real in that we tell it like it is, we don’t water down the truth as God states it. So if you want real, then our youth group is for you. Come shoot the breeze with new friends around a pool table, air hockey or foosball table. Play some ping-pong, pop some popcorn and chill.
I can’t tell you that we’re perfect, that we don’t have hypocrites or some people who aren’t interested in meeting a new person. What I can promise you is that we’re real and that we’re not a bunch of “holier than thou” types looking down our noses at you because of how you’re dressed, what color your hair is or shocked at what you have pierced or how many tats you have.
"Church?! Are you kidding me?! Who wants to go to church ~ they’re all a bunch of hypocrites in their own little clique and I don’t need that. I get enough rules at home and school.” Those thoughts probably sum up what most students would say about going to church.
Find real answers to real issues you face every day. Learn truth that doesn’t change and guides you on Tuesday afternoon at school when you need it. Real, practical and relaxed. It ain’t your ordinary church – I dare you to try it either Sunday morning or Wednesday night.
